Terms & Conditions

Shaako is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of digital products. We provide the infrastructure for users to list, discover, buy, and sell digital items. We do not own, create, or directly sell the digital products listed by users.

Shaako offers four primary transaction types:

• Public Listings — Standard marketplace listings visible to all users.
• Private/Private Deal Listings — Restricted listings shared via private 8-character code, with a 30-minute payment window and automatic cancellation on expiry.
• Vault Listings — Premium, escrow-protected digital asset listings where Shaako holds the digital resource and releases it to the buyer upon confirmed payment, subject to a 1-hour buyer protection window.
• Boosted Listings — Sellers may pay to promote their listings for increased visibility on the platform. Boost fees are non-refundable once activated.

You must create an account to buy or sell products. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activities.

• By listing a product, you guarantee that you have the right to sell it and that it does not violate any copyright, intellectual property rights, or our acceptable use policies.
• You must accurately describe the product and deliver exactly what is listed upon confirmed payment.
• Vault sellers must complete the Seller Marketplace Agreement before posting. This agreement is legally binding.
• Vault sellers must not list stolen accounts, hacked credentials, pirated software, illegal items, or any product that violates Bangladeshi or international law.
• Sellers who fail to deliver, deliver inaccurately, or engage in fraud may be permanently suspended without notice.
• Vault slot payments are non-refundable. Slots remain occupied even when a listing is marked as sold; sellers may resume or relist within their allocated slot.
• Boost fees are non-refundable once a boost is activated.

• Buyers must verify listings carefully before purchasing. Shaako does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any listing beyond the escrow protection it provides.
• Vault buyers must accept the Buyer Protection Agreement before their first vault purchase. By accepting, buyers acknowledge the 1-hour appeal window and agree to the dispute process.
• Buyers must raise disputes (appeals) BEFORE confirming delivery. Once delivery is confirmed, the transaction is final and no refund can be issued.
• Buyers must not attempt to chargeback or reverse payments outside of the Shaako platform. Doing so constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension.
• Buyers must use the in-app chat for all order communication. Evidence submitted during appeals must be genuine and relevant to the order.

Shaako facilitates payments using an escrow system. Payment is held securely until the buyer confirms delivery or the dispute process concludes.

Platform Fee & Service Charge:

• 1% Platform Fee (applied to all orders). Non-refundable.
• 2% Service Charge (applied to all orders). Refundable upon cancellation.

Other Fees:

• Vault slot fees: Charged separately for acquiring vault listing slots. Non-refundable.
• Boost fees: Charged per boost activation. Non-refundable.
• EPS gateway fees: Apply on buyer payments (2% gateway fee) and seller payouts (e.g. Send Money ৳5, Cash Out 1.8%). These are determined by the payment provider and may vary.

Payment Windows:

• Private Deals: Buyer must complete payment within 30 minutes of deal creation. Failure results in automatic order cancellation and listing reset.
• Vault Orders: The digital resource is released immediately upon payment confirmation. The 1-hour buyer protection window starts at resource release time.

All fees are clearly displayed before completing any transaction.

The Shaako Vault provides a structured buyer protection mechanism:

• Upon payment confirmation, the seller\'s digital resources are immediately released to the buyer.
• The buyer has a 1-hour window (the "Protection Window") to verify the resources and file an appeal if they are invalid, inaccessible, or materially different from the listing.
• During an active appeal, the seller\'s payout is paused and the Protection Window timer is suspended.
• Once the Protection Window closes without an appeal, or once a dispute is resolved in the seller\'s favour, the seller is automatically paid out.
• Buyers who file false or bad-faith appeals may be suspended.

If an issue arises with an order, buyers and sellers are encouraged to resolve it via the platform\'s in-app chat. If agreement cannot be reached, users may file an appeal through the app.

During an appeal, users may submit evidence (PDFs, documents, screenshots, or images). The Shaako admin team will review all evidence and make a final decision.

By using this Platform, both buyer and seller explicitly agree to accept the final decision made by the Shaako admin team regarding any dispute resolution. This decision is binding and cannot be further appealed within the platform.

Buyers may leave reviews on completed orders. By submitting a review, you:

• Confirm the review reflects your genuine experience.
• Grant Shaako a license to display the review on the Platform.
• Agree not to submit false, defamatory, or misleading reviews.

Shaako reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our policies or contain inappropriate, fraudulent, or abusive content.

Shaako may issue promotional vouchers or discount codes at its discretion. Unless stated otherwise:

• Vouchers are single-use and non-transferable.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Expired or invalid vouchers will not be honoured.
• Shaako reserves the right to cancel or modify vouchers at any time.

Shaako strongly advises against conducting transactions or sharing payment information outside of our platform. We are not responsible for, and will not provide support, refunds, or dispute resolution for any loss of money, goods, or data resulting from payments or agreements made outside of the Shaako platform.

You may not use the Platform to buy or sell:

• Stolen accounts, hacked credentials, or items obtained through fraud
• Items that violate the Terms of Service of the originating platform
• Pirated, cracked, or illegally obtained software
• Illegal gambling, betting, or similar schemes
• Any item illegal under Bangladeshi or international law

You may not engage in fraud, harassment, spam, account manipulation, or any activity that disrupts the Platform or harms other users. Violations result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

The Shaako logo, platform design, and original content are the intellectual property of Shaako. You may not use them without our permission. Sellers retain ownership of the products they sell but grant Shaako a license to display and promote those listings on the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shaako shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

Shaako is not responsible for the quality, legality, or accuracy of items listed by third-party sellers. Our liability is limited to the escrow and dispute mechanisms described in these Terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People\'s Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification and by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
